PHI/CDC Global Health Fellowship Program

This fellowship is being implemented by the Public Health Institute and its partner Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH). It is a U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-funded program that supports promising emerging global health professionals to develop the technical skills needed to respond to today’s public health challenges. Fellows have the exciting opportunity to work with leading CDC experts and contribute to public health projects around the world.

Fellows are placed in Washington DC, Atlanta GA, and in CDC offices abroad where they work on the front lines of global health and hone their professional skills. To qualify, applicants must:
  • Have an MPH or PhD in Public Health from a CEPH-accredited school or program
  • Have received their qualifying degree prior to the beginning of the fellowship or within the last five years
  • Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident and authorized to work in the U.S.

We are seeking opportunities to promote our fellowship, and we would be interested in promoting it to your MPH students.
