Northwestern University is hiring a Research Project Coordinator to manage daily operations of biomedical &/or social-behavioral research studies involving multidisciplinary teams of colleagues, sponsors, and other external project stakeholders; monitor study performance; analyze & review results; and supervise development & implementation of new protocols. In this position you will also assign work & supervise study staff and review technical operations ensuring that all processes, protocols, & procedures are quality controlled and functioning up to standards. You will also develop, implement, and administer budgets, grants, and administrative procedures. You may co-author scientific papers for presentation & publication as well as coordinate writing, submission, and administration of grants.

Health Educator 

Center on Halstead is hiring a health educator to provide (in English and Spanish) health information and education, including PrEP/PEP education and referrals, over the phone through the State of Illinois AIDS/HIV & STD Hotline; enter data into the state’s database and audit COH HIV/HCV testing paperwork to ensure accuracy; provide referrals, linkages, and follow up for the Chicago/EMA HIV Resource Coordination Hub; provide HIV/HCV counseling and testing services; and accurately track all work and client information on paper and in secure data bases. This position is responsible for teaching people about behaviors that promote wellness and connecting clients to HIV, Housing, and PrEP-related resources at COH and at outreach locations. Additionally, this position will provide outreach distribution of safer sex materials in bars and other venues.

Youth Transitional Housing Manager

Center on Halstead is hiring a Youth Transitional Housing Manager to manage the daily operations of the LGBTQ Youth House including: supervising staff and youth, ensuring a safe environment, assigning chores, and coordination of recreational activities. The Housing Manager works with program case managers to monitor the youth client’s participation and progress, assisting them in overcoming barriers and enhancing employment, health, and housing potentials and opportunities. The Housing Manager is also the liaison between the community and the youth house. 

Salary Range:49000.00 To 50000.00 (USD) Annually
