The Chicago Gun
Violence Research Collaborative (CGVRC) Fellowship Program offers up to 12 six-month
fellowships to highly talented and committed graduate students enrolled in
graduate and professional programs within the city of Chicago
The Fellowship provides a $1,000 stipend for engaging with
interdisciplinary teams of graduate fellows across Chicago universities in collaboration
with community agencies within Chicago neighborhoods most impacted by gun
violence.
Through funding from the Shure Charitable Trust, and the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, the CGVRC Research Fellowship Program
supports future professionals who have the passion and ability to positively
effect change that reduces gun violence in Chicago neighborhoods and promotes
youth opportunities.
CGVRC Fellows come from diverse social, academic and
economic backgrounds and must be in good academic standing, enrolled in at
least 6 credit hours, and have taken 12 graduate credits.
There is one application deadline per year. Application
