Contact Tracers Needed! – Free training

Contact Tracers are asked to be “on call” a couple of days a week (however many days/hours your schedule allows for). When you are on call, we will send you contact tracing assignments in an email. You will call the case and gather information about them along with any information on people they may have exposed during their infectious period. Once all information is collected and submitted into our contact tracing module (go.data), you would send any contact information about their close contacts that you have collected to us and we send exposure notifications. We are very flexible with your work hours/days, as long as a trace is completed by reasonable hours (we usually say don’t call people after 8PM). This is a completely remote position; you can do it from the comfort of your own home.

The workload truly ranges from 1-5 cases a day per person. If you are still interested in volunteering, please complete the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Contact Tracing course via coursera. Once everyone has completed the course, we will train you via zoom on how to enter cases into go.data (our COVID dashboard), as well as how to use PowerBI, which will allow you to access contact information. We will go over that once everyone has finished their contact tracing course.

Please contact Laura Hricková, COVID-19 Care Coordinator, at lhrickova@luc.edu for more information.
