Position Description:
The Department of Population Health Sciences i is seeking an Indoor Air Quality C Communications Coordinator. Housed at the W Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS)a and maintained through an ongoing p partnership with DHS, Bureau of E Environmental and Occupational Health ( (BEOH), this position involves leading c communications efforts to transform complex h health information into actionable advice f for public health professionals, indoor air q quality practitioners and the public. This p position performs outreach and conference p planning and provides accessible technical a advice on common indoor air issues like m mold, chemical vapors, radon, and carbon m monoxide. The coordinator will support t training and guidance to local health d departments for the Wisconsin Radon and I Indoor Air programs.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position. Applicants should be willing to travel occasionally (in and out of state of WI).
Qualifications:
Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in public health or related biological and/or envir and/or environmental science field or commensurate commensurate work experience preferred.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experienc Experience:
A minimum of one year of experience working in the in the field of environmental health or chronic chronic disease prevention and control is require required.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and i and in writing with diverse audiences (such as lo as local health staff, property owners, housi housing inspectors, contractors and the gener general public); Ability to work independently; Ability to coordinate and maintain new and ong ongoing partnerships with public and private ent entities; Ability to apply scientific information for pu public health purposes.
