Cook County Health & Hospitals System is hiring an Epidemiologist to provide direct counseling services and contact tracing for clients identified as having STDs; provide follow-up to assure that clients receive required treatment and comply with other medical recommendations as warranted; enter information on cases into electronic databases; and investigate and close cases in internal and external electronic databases, including, but not limited to, the Illinois-National Electronic Disease Surveillance System (I-NEDSS) database.
