The Research Program on Children and Adversity (RPCA) is an applied research program dedicated to improving the evidence base on the epidemiology of mental health problems, family functioning, and intervention research to develop and test mental health services for children and families affected by multiple forms of adversity, including infectious disease, poverty, and armed conflict.
The RPCA is currently seeking candidates for the following roles to start remotely and to ultimately relocate to Kigali, Rwanda. Please note that all candidates must be US citizens or green cardholders:
Senior Program Manager (1): Masters in Social Work, Public Health, or related fields preferred; prior research study management, supervisory, & international work strongly preferred.
Program Manager/Father Engagement Advisor (1):
Masters in Social Work, Public Health, or related fields preferred; prior research study management,
supervisory, & international work strongly preferred. Experience with father-engagement, early child development, and implementation science desired.
Research Associates (2): Ph.D. in Implementation Science, Social Work, Mental Health, or related field required; advanced
statistical and computational programming skills; experience conducting research in low-to-middle-income countries.
Capacity Building Coordinator (1): Masters in Social Work, Public Health or related field preferred, program development and training facilitation in low-to-middle income experience desired, Diplomacy in communications, and interpersonal relations.
