The Breathe Chicago Center (BCC) at the University of Illinois at Chicago, led by Jerry
Krishnan, MD, PhD, Professor of Medicine and Public Health, is recruiting a Clinical Research
Data Manager. This Center conducts research funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH),
the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), and other sources. The Clinical
Research Data Manager will have the opportunity to design and execute analysis plans to support
new and completed studies; prepare performance reports for review by investigators, study
funders, other study staff, institutional review boards, and independent data monitoring
committees; and assist in the preparation of research grants and manuscripts submitted to peer-reviewed journals. The Clinical Research Data Manager will also be responsible for supporting
quality improvement initiatives, data base development and maintenance, and data visualization.
The Clinical Research Data Manager will be working closely with clinician-investigators,
biostatisticians, informaticians, clinical research coordinators, pre- and post-doctoral trainees,
and clinicians.
