Description:
The
Summer Camp Counselor Program Coordinator will lead approximately of 30 teens
participating in the camp counselor program that aims to build community and
strengthen their leadership skills. With 30 teens participating, this is a
seasonal, full-time position that will offer you a chance to be a leader in
Quinn's outreach to the youth of Maywood and the Proviso community. This
position provides valuable mentoring and support to a site that impacts the
community surrounding Loyola Stritch. This is a seasonal full-time
staff position at $20-26 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Now
in its 8th year, Quinn Center Summer Enrichment Program has become a
community staple that serves over 150 Proviso Township
youth. Program participants (Grades 1-8) enjoy academic enrichment, art,
science, and sports, while teens (Grades 9-12) are actively engaged as paid
camp counselors with dedicated time focused on team building, community
outreach, and leadership skills development.
Requirements
Applicants
should have experience working with youth and teens and a passion for engaging
with the community. Applicants will be required to complete all Archdiocese of Chicago requirements including, but not
limited to: Virtus Training, Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse and
Neglect Background check, Mandated Reporter Training. Complete job description
