The
Contact Tracing Coordinator (CTC) will be responsible for data management including
coordination with state and local health departments, data security, and analysis. The
Coordinator, will supervise a team of contact tracers to reach out to LUC
students, faculty and staff who have come into close contact with a COVID-19
infected individual. This may include assigning contacts, ensure tracers are
managing their caseloads and providing immediate support when contact is unable
to be made with a high-risk individual The Coordinator must complete COVID-19
Contact Tracing, HIPAA and FERPA trainings and other trainings as needed.
DUTIES
·
Establish the data reporting
system in coordination with HSC Public Health Sciences Dept
·
Maintain the data reporting
system.
·
Conducts routine quality
assurance monitoring to ensure that data are appropriately collected and
entered into the data system; troubleshoots and follows-up on data errors.
·
Provides leadership with
ongoing feedback on protocols, data collection instruments and systems to
enhance their effectiveness and efficiency in meeting objectives.
·
Analyzes trends in case
details, recognizes case issues, proposes solutions and appropriately escalates
to management.
·
Assists with identification and
integration of technology e.g. Contact Tracing apps into the Program.
·
Protects and maintains
individuals’ privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA
requirements.
BACK-UP
DUTIES
·
Assists with recruitment and
retention of Contact Tracers.
·
Assists with training of
contact tracing team.
·
As needed, oversees and
supports the work of Contact Tracers engaged in case interviews, COVID-19
contact tracing and linkage to services.
·
Maintains daily communication
with the Contact Tracers, as needed.
·
Provides guidance to Contact
Tracers to ensure that case interview activities are conducted, according to
protocols, policies and procedures; provides ongoing refresher trainings and in
a confidential manner.
Required Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree in public
health, nursing or other related field, MPH preferred.
·
Experience with data
collection, reporting, and analysis of data.
·
Experience working with health
related community organizations.
·
Project management experience.
·
Excellent organizational
skills.
·
Critical thinking and sound
judgment.
·
Excellent communication skills.
·
Data management and analysis
skills.
·
Proficiency in navigating
computer systems; ability to learn new data systems quickly and to comply with
data integrity and security to safeguard all personal identifiable information.

Ability to demonstrate a
professional, positive attitude and work ethic.

Ability to understand the
concepts of institutional and structural racism and bias and their impact on
underserved and underrepresented communities.
·
Excellent interpersonal skills
and ability to interact professionally with people from diverse cultural,

and distress.

Demonstrated commitment to
supporting communities who have experienced systemic oppression and bias (e.g.
people of color, LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, justice involved persons, etc.).

Desired
Qualifications
·
Experience conducting
telephone-based or in-person interviews.
·
Experience in motivational
interviewing.
·
Training in Epidemiology.
·
Supervisory experience.
·
Flexibility, professionalism
and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are highly valued
attributes.
Proficiency in languages other than English.
