UW for Wisconsin Department of Health Services: Evaluation Specialist position opening (deadline: August 19, 2020)

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is recruiting for an evaluation specialist within the Bureau of Environmental and Occupational Health. The evaluation specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing program evaluation activities for the CDC-funded Wisconsin Asthma Control Program and the Wisconsin Environmental Public Health Tracking Program. The evaluation specialist will also support Bureau-related evaluation activities, such as building evaluation capacity within the Bureau, and supporting evaluation activities related to the Bureau's strategic plan. Note that this position is a UW position, but as with most of our bureau’s UW contractors, the person in this position sits among us and works just like the DHS staff, but is technically a UW employee.

Volunteer Opportunity - COVID-19 Community Testing

The COVID Equity Response Collaborative: Loyola (CERCL) is looking for student volunteers to help assist with free COVID-19 testing our community sites in Maywood and Melrose Park on Wednesdays and Fridays from 12-5 pm.

 

We are looking for student volunteers to assist with set-up, temperature check/symptom screening, registration, assisting the tester, and performing a legal screening. There will be licensed medical personnel on site supervising/collecting the samples. PPE will be provided for all volunteers, and masks to all patients.
