CDC Evaluation Fellowship Program - applications now open


The 2019 application process is now open. Applications are due 4/8/19, 1:00 p.m. EST. An informational webinar will be held 3/1/19 at noon EST; click here to register for the webinarExternal.

CDC’s Program Performance and Evaluation Office invites early-career professionals to apply for inclusion in the 9th cohort of the CDC Evaluation Fellowship Program. This initiative represents a major commitment by CDC to program evaluation and program improvement. Fellows work under the leadership of CDC’s Chief Evaluation Officer; they are matched with CDC host programs in Atlanta, Georgia, to work on program evaluation activities with those programs.




Applying for the Fellowship
Applicants for the Fellowship go through an extensive selection process, including interviews with potential host programs, culminating in CDC host programs and Fellows matched based on mutual interest. Find more information and the application at the application web site.External
Application timeline:
February – April: ApplicationsExternal accepted; deadline is 4/8/19, 1:00 p.m. EST
March: Informational webinarExternal, 3/1/19, 12:00 p.m. EST
Late April: Select and notify finalist pool (~2 times the number of eventual Fellows)
May: Host programs conduct interviews
Early June: Fellow selections & notification
Mid-August: Fellows start in Atlanta on 8/12/19
NOTE: Qualifying degree must be completed by end of Spring semester of the year candidate is applying and on transcript by the end of June.
