Independently, as well as collaboratively, conduct research studies to advance the goals of the principal investigators, as well as departmental, research programs. Overall the position involves (i) performing mixed-methods human subjects research using community-engaged approaches, (ii) designing and implementing behavioral and educational interventions in the fields of emergency medicine and community health disparities, (ii) educating trainees, staff and collaborators on various research designs, processes and methods, and (iii) analyzing data, compiling results, and authoring reports, papers and presentations for public, community and academic dissemination. This position requires PhD/DrPH/MD+MS (or equivalent) in health services research, public health, behavioral science or similarly relevant fields. We welcome expertise in qualitative research methods and analysis, biostatistics, health behavior intervention theory and design, as well as clinical research processes and community-based participatory research methods. processes. Data management and grant-writing familiarity with experience in STATA/SPSS, NVivo/Atlas.ti, Redcap, and team-based research, will be strongly considered.

The coordinator will Provide general administrative support to the departmental research team to facilitate the program's goals. Conduct and assist with primary research activities with tutelage of supervisors including the collaborate on the development of program and research materials including recruitment and marketing flyers, implementation guides, protocols, educational materials, as well as websites, social media tools, and formal reports. Work with program leaders to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to the research program. A Master’s level degree is preferred in the field of Public Health, Clinical Research, Bioethics, and survey research. The candidate must possess qualitative and quantitative health research skills, biostatistics, Data Management, program management, Graphical data visualization. Familiarity with MS Office, STATA/SPSS, Qualtrics, NVivo, Redcap, website development, social media, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills will be strongly considered.
