Job Opportunity for South Asian Health Study at Northwestern University


Northwestern University is seeking applicants for National Institute of Health (NIH)-funded research studies as a Research Study Coordinator. This employee will work on the South Asians Active Together (SAATH) and Mediators of Atherosclerosis in South Asians Living in America (MASALA) studies. MASALA Study is the first longitudinal study in U.S. South Asians to understand what factors lead to heart disease and guide prevention and treatment of heart disease and the aim of the SAATH study is to conduct a randomized controlled trial to evaluate a multilevel physical activity intervention for South Asian women and their daughters. The team collaborates with Skokie Health Department, Metropolitan Asian Family Services, North Shore University Health Systems and Skokie Park District.
